By infusing the framework of the school with a culture of care, students are more likely to delve into the competencies, ranging from critical thinking to real-life skills and mental wellness, all of which will improve achievement results.  Students’ passion for learning increases when they feel a sense of belonging and connection to the school and land (nature-based learning) as well as to the targeted construct.
